Climbing in the Poudre

Recently I have started climbing outside more often. The Poudre Canyon is where I’ve spending most of my time. As I get outside more often I realized that there are so many boulders which I am psyched to get on! I was a little discouraged about how I haven’t sent anything hard. Then I, realized that climbing is supposed to be fun. Over spring break, I started climbing with little or no expectations. This has really helped me enjoy climbing a lot more. Instead of climbing for the grades, I’m now climbing for fun. Climbing hard boulders is also fun, but that isn’t all I’m concerned about now.

A few weeks ago my team and I went to Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. This was our trip to climb at the Snake Pit Area. The sandstone boulders had some unique problems. We had a great time climbing here. After we climbed here, we went to watch ABS youth nationals.

This week I have been bouldering a lot. I spent most of my time climbing in the Poudre. I also went on a trip to the Bog. Two of my favorite climbs were at this area. They’re called Iron Helix and Simple. I attached a video which shows me climbing at this area in the Poudre Canyon. Here's the link to the video!
