The spring season finished up well for some local flagstaff climbers. Matt Gentile and I made ascents of the BvB Roof. Sam Tingey made multiple repeats of the BVB roof and finished the straight out project, called Sparkle Jockey. The BvB Roof climbs through slopey underclings and toe cams to a crux throw to a pocket. It finishes by spinning around, then doing big moves off heel toe cams. My brother Robbie made a trip to the Flagtown from Dallas, and climbed a line called Limestone Freshy on the right side of the roof. Pat Fitts finished his project called the Uptown Vandal at Cherry Canyon. I'm heading to Colorado for another season of alpine bouldering and tree work.
