Hi I’m Eliot Ruske. When I lived in Boston, I boxed competitively, but I couldn’t afford any gyms when I moved to Portland. Naively I thought rock climbing would be another good “poor man’s sport,” but I was hooked by the time I found out otherwise. I got a job as a janitor at a local gym for a free membership, and 5 years later, I set in that same gym and couldn’t be happier.
