SETTING THE STANDARD IN GYM PADDING
At Flashed, we have spent years defining the industry standard for commercial gym padding. Our innovative approach to materials, research, and design — along with our unwavering commitment to improving the climbing experience —results in world-class products, every time.
A Designed Experience
You know your community best and we want to give you the tools to create your vision. Maybe your goal is infinity padding throughout an outcropping of freestanding boulders, where the pads seamlessly disappear under the wall, maybe you want an inlaid system, creating a flat surface from walking areas onto padding without a step. Ramps for long boulder caves, invisible integrated walkways, flip-up sections for setting lifts? Do you want a modular layout in a multi-purpose space, where you can set up in no time for National Competition level performance? We adapt and develop the end product and climbing experience you’re looking for.
Once you have outlined the feel and character of your commercial facility it’s time to select the padding needed. We’ve spent over a decade developing and refining for each unique gym, so we have much to choose from and will walk you through all the options so you can be confident you’re making the best choice.
“Flashed Flooring has made a huge difference in the look and cleanliness of our gyms. Not only do they have the best carpet top bouldering system in the industry, but they’re also fast, professional, and fun to work with.” – Touchstone Climbing

Paneled Approach & Ease of Maintenance
With both route and bouldering commercial gym padding, we have designed systems based on rectangular rows of panels, which give a uniform look and lend themselves to easy upkeep.
Routine and consistent cleaning will go a long way with your new padding. Occasionally you may want to do some additional maintenance and we build our pads for easy access. Unlike other systems, our paneled cover in bouldering zones and custom-sewn overlapping Velcro attachments mean you can access whatever you need without having to pull back large sections of a cover to patch a hole or inspect foam. Keeping your Maintenance Director happy is one of our key goals.
We developed our own equipment to better understand impact attenuation. We built devices that explore foam grades and the relationship between foam layers. If you are like us and want to geek out on foam and impact data then check out our Explore Research page.
