I’m Mark Derksen from Calgary! I love climbing because it always takes me to amazing places, new experiences, and amazing people. I especially enjoy finding new areas and establishing boulders with friends!

Favorite Product:
1. The Hueco pad is the quintessential bouldering pad for its sheer surface area, packability of other items (i.e., rope/duffle/camera), and insanely supportive and comfortable strap system that holds up on approaches that vary from 5 minutes to 3 hours.
2. The Chalk Me Up before you GoGo is an incredible and essential part of my climbing kit and is legitimately the best bucket I have ever used. The size, rigidity, material all make it so enjoyable to use. The brush holsters allow me to carry several different brushes, but I don’t need to fidget and hassle remove them easily. The opening is stiff enough to stay closed with the velcro but stays open when I need it. I seriously can’t imagine a better bucket, and it makes every time I chalk up just that much more enjoyable.
